Footsteps on Mars started life in July 2005 as a collaboration between Danny and Paul. They released there 1^st EP in September 2005 with Welcome to the universe.  It was followed up with their album release in January 2006 entitled Learn and Grow. The track Analogue was voted best unsigned track of the week on the Clint Boon radio show on XFM Manchester.

In 2007 they returned with a number of EPs. The 1^st was entitled ‘Plato’ and was featured on Yorkshire radio’s Indie show and Danny and Paul discussed all things musical. The 2^nd EP was entitled ‘Let’s go to the stairs’ which perhaps featured the must psychedelic vocal sample ever! On the tired EP the pair were joined by singer Agne Motieciute who performed on the title track’ Lullaby’.

In 2008 the 2^nd Footsteps album was released entitled ‘On the road less travelled’. This album featured many guest vocalists (more information on them can be found in the MySpace blog).  Danny and Paul where accompanied on this release with Keyboard player Simon.

Plans for future Footsteps on Mars releases are not clear at the moment with people working on their own things. We have no doubt there will be future collaborations under this name and anyone interested should get in touch.
